Opening:
1.  Test Corrections for STAAR Simulation - Turn them in. 

2. Log in and Review Key External Forces and Key Internal Forces

3. What is the most significant change we've seen Carl undergo so far in his life?


Work Period:

4. View Clips #3-4: Construction; Up and Away

5. Review the structure of an expository paragraph

6. Mark the text for key elements in the model paragraph.


7. Planning: What are the key details you'll use to construct your own Expository Paragraph?

8. With your partner, construct an expository paragraph about the internal forces in Carl's life.  

9. Mini-Lesson: Present Tense Verbs

10. Mark the text for present tense verbs.


Closing:

11. Review your paragraph.  Copy and paste the paragraph into the "Check Your Understanding" section and revise it for verb consistency.
