1. Share absolutes (Description #4)

  • Publish on a colored notecard.


2. Introduce the next Brush Stroke: Appostives.

  • Read through the two pages of description.
    • Define what an appositive is in your own words
    • What are the examples given?
    • Return to a Core Sentence from a previous Description (1-4)
      • Try creating a sentence without any absolutes - but with an appositive that highlights an important feature of the sentence's subject.

3. Small groups: Draft a fully-detailed paragraph that explains the significance of the functionality you've chosen.
