1. Handout - Review Expectations for the Article of the Week (Take notes in your Journal)

  • Number Each Paragraph
  • Predict based on the title
  • Read through once for FLUENCY
  • Skim through the questions to help focus your second reading.
  • Read a second time, TAKE NOTES and use METACOGNITIVE MARKERS

  • Answer all questions thoroughly.  Pay attention to capitalization, punctuation, grammar and usage.

2. Preview of Final Grades:

  • Semester Ends January 16th.  No School on Friday, January 17th.
