2. In your small group, share the visualization of the scene.  Include the jiggeh and Tree-ear's reactions to what he saw.

3. Return to the text and reread chunk 3.

• Dialogue
• Mark the Resolution

Work Period:
4. Based on your markings, fill in the graphic organizer about each of the three characters.

5. In your Class Notebook, complete the quickwrite at the bottom of page 49

Closing:
6. Add the term "Characterization" to your class notebook under the quickwrite.
